Independent Study classes in the AAC offer an alternative to the traditional classroom, with flexible scheduling and a self-paced learning environment. This flexibility requires that you , the student, take personal responsibility for your learning. Independent study courses require maturity, responsibility, and ability to set goals, and self-discipline.

Advisors: Please inform students enrolling in independent study classes that they will be able to schedule their weekly, set class times only within their instructor‘s given schedule below. Specific times will be chosen at orientation with the specific instructor. They should call the AAC starting May 21st for the summer semester and Aug. 6th for the fall semester at 218-6237 to make an orientation appointment.

New AAC Students Please Notice:
Newly enrolled students should call the AAC to make an Orientation Appointment. At this appointment, the student will undergo diagnostic testing, receive vital orientation information, and complete an enrollment contract. The students should make their orientation appointment for as early in the semester as possible.
