Test Registration
Butler Adult Education Center is one of the 20 regional testing centers in Kansas authorized to administer the Tests of General Educational Development (GED).
The GED tests are designed to measure major academic skills and knowledge in core content areas that are learned during four years of high school. When you pass the 7.5 hour test battery, the resulting GED credential certifies that you have attained subject matter, knowledge and skills associated with high school completion. In Kansas, you are issued a Kansas State High School Diploma.
The GED test battery includes the following subject area tests:
Language Arts, Writing
Science
Social Studies
Mathematics
Language Arts, Reading
The Official GED Practice Tests are half-length tests with questions similar in content, difficulty, and format as those on the Official GED Tests. The Official GED Practice Tests are a good tool to help you decide whether you are prepared to succeed on the Official GED Tests or whether you would benefit from additional instruction, study or practice.
