Study Guidelines:
Students are encouraged to plan on two hours of study time per credit hour in their semester schedules. The following would apply to a full-time student (12 credit hours):
| 12 Hours in Class | x | 2 hours of study outside of class | = 24 hours of study outside of class per week |
| 12 Hours in Class | + | 24 hours of study outside |
= 36 hours of class and study per week |
Overloading school schedules and work or other commitments could cause students to do poorly in their classes. Contact an advisor for assistance in deciding how many credit hours would be best for you each semester.
