Members of this student organization understand the importance of service within the community and utilize co-curricular Service-Learning to assist them in their development and furthering their academic experiences. This student organization is made up of strong student leaders of high academic standing committed to make a difference in the local, regional and national community.

Who Are We?
Grizzly Ambassadors are a college organization serving as official student hosts for Butler Community College . The Ambassadors promote and support the Alumni Association and Foundation offices. They also serve as the president's official student representatives in the community. We enthusiastically live up to our mission statement.

What Do We Do?
The Ambassadors are a helping hand in the community. We volunteer much of our time to various groups on and off campus. Some of the events we volunteer at include luncheons with prominent alumni, homecoming activities and various community events. The Ambassadors assist annually with the Donors Appreciation Reception and twice a year at the Grizzly Bear Hunt which recruits prospective students to Butler.

Why Join?
Grizzly Ambassadors receive an outstanding education in personal communication and social etiquette. All ambassadors receive Butler Community College attire and lots of free food and fun. Joining the Ambassadors will give you the ability to network with key community leaders and employers plus develop a professional relationship with the college president, Dr. Jackie Vietti. All Ambassadors finishing their term in good standing receive a personal letter of recommendation from the President of the College.

How to Join?
Grizzly Ambassadors are selected each spring for a one-year term. Current members in good standing may reapply for membership. Prospective members must complete an application including an essay of no more than 250 words, the topic being why you would like to be an ambassador. Include with your application a reference from an instructor and/or employer. An interview process is required. Members must sign the Ambassador's contract, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above, be a full time student, and be active in organizations on and off campus.
