The mission of Kids‘ College is to provide fun and safe enrichment opportunities that promote lifelong learning. WHO CAN ATTEND
Kids‘ College is for any student entering the K – 8th grades for the Fall 2014 school year.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Classes are reserved on a first–registered, first–paid basis. See class listings for costs. We encourage you to register early for the best selection.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Classes may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified so that you can either transfer into another class or receive a full refund.

REGISTRATION FEES
Early bird registration discount $38 per 1.5 hour class and $76 per 3 hour class until May 16, then price goes to $43 and $86. The American Red Cress Babysitter Bootcamp class is $135.00 and Scrubs is $120.00

KIDS' College INFORMATION

REFUND POLICY
Fees will be refunded only if a student withdraws a week before class starts or if the class is cancelled.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Your student’s safety is of major importance to us. Your student will never be out of sight of teachers and staff. We ask that you never leave your child unattended while at Butler. Please use extra caution at drop-off and pickup times. Please do not ask that your student be allowed to go to the library or another area to meet you.

ATTENDANCE
Students are expected to attend each class in which they are enrolled. Parents should notify usin advance if the student will be absent. Attendance will be taken daily and parents will be contacted if there is an absent student.

VISITORS IN THE CLASSROOM
Because of the importance of safety and security for your student, we do not allow visitors in the classes. Our staff member will be glad to help you, or you may come to the Drop Off/Pickup locations for assistance.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Limited scholarships are available. To inquire please contact the Community Education Office at (316) 322–3193 or 322–3247.

DROP OFF AND PICKUP POINT
All students will gather at the specified entrance to the college building 10 minutes before each class. Directional signs will be placed on campus to assist with entrance location. Each student must be signed in and out daily. Each parent/guardian will receive information regarding the designated drop-off/pickup location in a confirmation letter following registration. Staff members meet students, take them to class and return with them after class ends. Kids’ College Staff will wait with the students as they are picked up. If you will be late in picking up your student, please call the Community Education Office to inform us of your arrival time. Safety is important to us and we cannot assume responsibility for your student beyond scheduled class and supervised times. Please ensure that your student is safely escorted to the drop-off point.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Students who do not abide by the rules or are disruptive will be taken to the Community Education Office and their parents will be notified. Continued disruption will result in the student being asked not to return. Refunds will not be provided to students who are removed from class.

TEACHER INFORMATION
Typically, our instructors are certified teachers who enjoy teaching! In some instances, instructors come to us with specialized fields which enhance the learning experience.

LUNCH BUNCH
The Lunch Bunch offers lunch supervision for students staying on campus between morning and afternoon classes. The fee for this service is $15.00 per week with your student bringing his or her own lunch.
