Financial Aid for Nursing Students
Butler Community College (Butler) has a variety of financial assistance programs to help students. Butler, in accordance with its educational philosophies, accepts financial aid applications and makes decisions regarding those applications without regard to sex, race, creed, disability, or national origin. The college is guided by the principle that equal opportunity and access to facilities, programs, and services shall be available to all.
There are a variety of grants and loans available to nursing students. Some of the grants include nursing scholarships, Pell Grants, and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants. Students may also apply for loans, including the National Direct Student Loan, the Guaranteed Student Loan and nursing loans. It is the student nurse's ethical responsibility to repay any money borrowed. Any student with a financial concern is encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Director at http://www.butlercc.edu/fin_aid/fm_dir.cfm for additional information and assistance.
