Purchasing the Required Course Materials

Once you know your course names and numbers you may obtain your materials through the BCC bookstore. Please include the Course Number followed by the CRN when requesting assistance. You may purchase course materials:

  • In person at the El Dorado or Andover bookstore
  • Online through the Butler Bookstore
  • By telephone (316-322-3197)
  • By fax (316-323-6431)

Payment may be made by check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover)
If you receive financial aid, please contact Accounts Receivable to work out the payment plan at 316.322.3105 (316.733.3105 from Wichita metro) or email ar@butlercc.edu

Note: If you intend to sell your textbook back to the Butler Bookstore at the end of the term, you must retain your Butler receipt to show proof of purchase.

Reference CRN numbers and course number with your bookstore order.

If you are taking an online computer course (BA104, BA126, BA127, BA204, BA211, BA245, BE165, BE170, BE175, BE180, BE275, ED222, or a course beginning with IN), please contact your instructor to determine exactly what software you need for your computer.

Some courses in the BMS division required access codes to course specific programs. These will be bundled with a new textbook. Students purchasing a used text may be required to purchase a separate access code from the bookstore.

Prior to contacting the instructor, determine the specifications of your computer (operating system and version) so that the correct software can be purchased.

When you receive the information from your instructor, write it down and take it with you to the bookstore so that you will be given the correct software. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure you have the right software. Double check your purchase before you open it.

It cannot be returned once it is opened.
