MERLOT was created in 1997 by the California State University Center for Distributed Learning and has developed into a project of many elements. MERLOT is an online community that allows you to search for learning materials, reviews, assignments, and people. MERLOT is modeled after the NSF funded project, "Authoring Tools and An Educational Object Economy (EOE)" lead by Dr. James Spohre and hosted by Apple Computer, and other industry, university, and government collaborators. http://taste.merlot.org/ |
