When are advisors available and what should I bring with me to enroll?

Advisors are available Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred. If you plan to enroll in a math or English class, be sure to bring ACT or SAT scores, or transcripts from other college.

All students who have not taken the ACT, have not scored a minimum of 18 on the ACT or have had no previous college English or math courses are required to take the ASSET placement test prior to enrolling in English or mathematics courses. The scores from the ASSET test are used to advise students about placement in courses where they can be most successful. Students should make arrangements to take the tests by contacting the advisors or Counseling Center.
