Roger Mathews

Butler art Instructor, received his bachelors and masters degrees from Wichita State University. He began teaching at Butler in 1979.

Mathews is a three dimensional artist working in metal, glass, clay and wood.

He also owns Mathews' Gallery and exhibits regularly in regional and national shows where his work is purchased for private and corporate collections.

Valerie Haring

Butler lead art instructor, received an Associate of Arts Degree from Butler Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Emporia State University.

She began teaching at Butler in 1991. Haring maintains an independant art studio.

John Oehm

Butler art instructor, received a master of Fine Arts in Painting from Wichita State University in 1981 after completing his bachelor of Fine Arts at The University of Nebraska at Kearney. He began teaching at Butler Community College in 1992 after 14 years of teaching at Wichita State University, The Wichita Center for the Arts and privately in his Wichita studio.

Oehm's figurative paintings and drawings have been shown in regional, national and international exhibitions. His works can be found in numerous private, corporate and university collections.
