Fine Arts & Communications Scholarships

You can receive funding for college while gaining valuable experience through our program scholarships!

Activity scholarships are available in Mass Communications (magazine, newspaper, sports media and radio-TV-film), Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance Team, Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre. These scholarships pay for in-state tuition and provide a book allowance (all books are provided and returned at the end of the semester). The Art department awards endowed cash scholarships.

The Division of Fine Arts and Communications hosts two audition dates each Spring for scholarships toward the Fall semester. Occasionally, additional scholarships are awarded during the Fall for the following Spring semester. You are not required to major in the field for which the scholarship is granted.

Formal auditions and interviews are conducted on "Fine Arts Days" held Saturday, February 2nd and Friday, March 8th, 2013 for the Fall 2013 semester. Fine Arts Day information (schedule of events, registration form and requirements/fact sheet) are available below. Students are encouraged to attend a Fine Arts Day, however individual auditions may be scheduled as time allows. Contact the specific program (listed in the Fine Arts Day information) for availability.
