KSBDC provides free, confidential, one-on-one consulting designed to find practical solutions to business problems. The center's job is one of education and guidance. A representative sample of these services includes:

The BCC KSBDC consultant's objective, expert opinion can be incredibly valuable to your existing business. Whether your business is facing a major challenge, contemplating an expansion, or simply interested in another opinion, BCC KSBDC consultants work closely with you and your team to develop and implement intelligent solutions.

While you will work primarily with one BCC KSBDC consultant, you will have access to the expertise of the entire network of more than 30 consultants statewide and more than 4,000 nationwide.

After your form is received, you will receive a call to schedule a one-on-one counseling session. There are five steps to schedule a meeting:

1. Complete and sign the client information form (20KB PDF)
2. Read and sign the 'Statement of Understanding' (43KB PDF)
3. Return all completed forms by mail or in person to:

4. Once your completed and signed forms are received by the BCC KSBDC, you will receive a call to schedule a one-on-one counseling session.
5. Obtain your credit report and credit score if you are requiring financing for your start up business.
•  To receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from any or all three of the nationwide consumer reporting agencies, click on the following link www.annualcreditreport.com.
•  Your credit report is free but there will be a small fee for your credit score. However, knowing your credit score is very important. Lenders will require your credit score.
