To enroll in classes, students must first apply for Admission and complete the Enrollment Checklist
Enrollment dates can be found on the Butler calendar
New or Transfer student that has not attended Butler
1. Enrolling In Person with an Advisor
- Students are welcome to walk-in Monday through Friday at any location. No appointment is necessary. Please refer to the Enrollment Checklist to know what to bring to meet with an advisor.
- Students can choose to schedule an appointment with an advisor to enroll.
2. Enrolling Remotely with an Advisor
- Students can schedule a virtual appointment
- Virtual: Join the virtual appointment through Microsoft Teams and the advisor will show you how to enroll via your MyButlerCC account
Currently attending Butler student
1. Enrolling In Person with an Advisor

- Students can choose to schedule an appointment with an advisor to enroll.
2. Enrolling Remotely with an Advisor
- Students can schedule either a phone or virtual appointment
- Phone: The advisor will call you and walk you through enrolling via your MyButlerCC account.
- Virtual: Join the virtual appointment through Microsoft Teams and the advisor will show you how to enroll via your MyButlerCC account
3. Enrolling Online without an Advisor
- Must be a current or re-admitted returning student and in good standing. Students must submit copies of previous college transcripts prior to enrolling.
- Complete and submit the Release to Enroll form listing appropriate class(es) (must be completed each semester).
- If you do not know what class(es) you need, walk in and meet with an advisor or make an appointment.
- An advisor will email you in 1 business day letting you know if you have been released to enroll.

Returning student that has not attended Butler for more than two years

High School Student
High school students must submit a High School/Home School Release Form, signed by the high school principal and a copy of their current high school transcript in order to enroll. They can enroll in person by walking-in Monday through Friday at any location or by contacting the High School Partnerships office butlercc.edu/highschool
Guest Student
Guest students have permission to enroll themselves online through their Butler account. Guest students do not have to meet with an advisor to enroll. Copies of transcripts are required for prerequisite courses. If you receive a prerequisite/test score error, please email an unofficial copy of your transcript to guestprereq@butlercc.edu along with your name, date of birth, semester and class(es) you are trying to enroll into.

International Student
International students can only enroll with an International advisor. After completing all your International Admissions Requirements you can meet with an International advisor on a walk-in basis during business hours.
