BEST Program

Butler and Emporia State University have teamed up to provide students the opportunity to earn a four-year teaching degree while staying on either the Andover or El Dorado Butler campuses. The BEST Program (Butler & Emporia from Students to Teachers) is designed for students who wish to earn their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

BEST students take advantage of dual financial aid, dual advising, and dual learning experiences as Butler and Emporia State work together to provide authentic teaching practices for 21st century classrooms. Students in the BEST Program are almost guaranteed a job before they graduate because of the extensive classroom experiences these future teachers have throughout the program.
