Starting with the Fall 2015 semester, all Butler students will have the ability to access their grades, and syllabus online. Other online activities such as online paper submissions, instructor materials, and self-quizzes may also be available, at the instructor’s discretion.

You can access each course’s syllabus, gradebook and other material by logging into the college’s online learning management system, Canvas. You can also find the website link on the college’s homepage by choosing Login > Canvas/Online. Logon with your Butler email address and password.

Another great advantage to using Canvas is your choice of ways to communicate with your instructors. You can choose to use any email account, or text messaging to receive notifications of messages, announcements or grades. Your email or phone number remains confidential; it is not shared with whomever sends you the message.

You can access Canvas from any computer or mobile device. On your computer, be sure to use the latest version of one of these Internet browsers: Safari, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The use of Internet Explorer is NOT recommended.
