Designed to feed your desire to teach music from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, our Music Education degree prepares you to grow young minds in instrumental and vocal art. Gain hands-on experience as you observe performances and classes of K-12 students. Use your gift of performing and combine it with your gift of teaching others, and you will succeed in music education at Butler.

Our Music Education program gives you the skills to teach instrumental and vocal music to students in Kindergarten through grade 12. Once you complete your associate degree in music education, you can transfer to a bachelor's degree program at a four-year university
