New Gallery Show Takes Viewers “Beyond the Surface”

Instillation and paintings by Chiyoko Myose on display in the E.B. White Gallery at Butler Community College.

Art Department will be hosting a new show, “Beyond the Surface,” from Nov. 4 through Dec. 2 in its E.B. White Gallery.

Highlighting the work of local Japanese artist Chiyoko Myose, the show features both paintings and installations made of dryer sheets and threads. 

“Beyond the Surface’s” reception will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the E.B. White Gallery, located in the 700 Building of Butler’s El Dorado campus at 901 S. Haverhill Road.  For additional information about the show, contact Trisha Coates at [email protected] or 316-200-5986.
