Butler Community College Stages Two Original One-Acts
Two one-acts, written by Butler Community College Theatre Professor, Bob Peterson, opens on Feb. 21.
Two original one-acts, “Hair Deux,” that examine friendship will open at Butler Community College’s Black Box Theatre on Feb. 21. Both plays were written by Bob Peterson, theatre professor at Butler Community College. Peterson is also directing both plays that will be performed in-the-round.
Stories related to hair are introduced in the two one-acts. The first play, “Crew Cut,” examines the relationship between two brothers as they go through their family’s belongings after the death of their father. “Spit Curls” tells the story of a hairdresser who encounters a challenge with a bride’s hair on the bride’s wedding day.
