Butler’s Vocal Music Department Performs "Past"

Students Discover How to “Learn from the Past, Live in the Present, and Dream of the Future."

Butler Community College’s Vocal Music Department is performing the first part of its three-part series entitled “Past, Present, Future...” To honor the first theme, “Past,” there will be an “Alumni Golden Gala” held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14. The department will perform “Present” this winter and “Future” this spring.

The Chamber Singers, Butler Headliners, Concert Choir, Butler A Cappella, the Smorgaschords, Butler Ladies and the Noteables will entertain the crowd each evening with performances from past shows, as well as popular songs from past decades. Selections for “Past” include “Don’t Stop Believing,” performed by the Headliners, “Somebody to Love,” performed by the Butler Ladies and “Bulletproof,” performed by Butler A Cappella.

The Vocal Music faculty includes Valerie Lippoldt-Mack, Chair of Vocal Music and Dance, as well as Matthew Udland, Chad Ingram and Nick Engels.

Price: $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. Butler students get in free with Butler ID.
