Celebration of Freedom Concert

Butler Community College, in cooperation with the El Dorado Celebration of Freedom Committee, is hosting the annual Celebration of Freedom Concert at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11, in the Hubbard Welcome Center on Butler’s El Dorado campus. Admission is free. The El Dorado Correctional Facility will provide the Honor Guard. Butler Community College Veterans Across Campus, a student organization, will provide drinks and service.

The concert will feature several patriotic selections performed by the Butler Concert Band, as well as big-band classics performed by the Butler Jazz Ensemble.

Selections include “In the Mood” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” from the Butler Jazz Ensemble and “America the Beautiful,” “National Emblem March” and “Arlington (Where Giants Lie Sleeping)” performed by the Butler Concert Band.
