Anatomy of Grey
Butler Community College’s Fall Theatre Production of Anatomy of Grey
Butler Community College’s Theatre Department is performing “Anatomy of Grey” by Jim Leonard. This play is set in Indiana during the late 1800’s. This classic work is a heartbreaking drama filled with death, loss and love.
When June's father dies, she prays for a healer to come to the small town of Gray, so that no one will ever suffer again. Soon, there's a tornado, and a man in a balloon blows into town, claiming to be a doctor. At first, the new doctor cures anything and everything, but soon the town's preacher takes ill with a mysterious plague that spreads rapidly.
“Anatomy of Grey” is directed by Butler’s Professor of Theatre, Samuel Sparks. The Technical Director and Lighting Designer of the production is associate professor of theatre, Bernie Wonsettler.
