Butler Benefit Auction raised 15% more funds compared to last year

EL DORADO, KAN. - The Butler Community College Foundation held its 26th annual Butler Benefit Auction on Friday, March 3, with the theme “Purple Reign.” Having consistently ranked in the Wichita Business Journal’s Top 25 Fundraising Events, the annual auction supports over 9,000 Butler students and their families every year. Thanks to Presenting Sponsor HF Sinclair and Elite Sponsors Bank of America and Premier Food, more than $315,000 was raised this year—an increase of $45,000 over last year.

Jennifer Green-Miracle, Director of Community Advancement and Corporate Relations for the Foundation, was pleased with the results of the auction. “I am truly impressed by the generosity of the many alumni, friends, and businesses who see the value of Butler Community College,” Green-Miracle said. “As an institution of higher learning, Butler constantly strives to meet the needs of our students and the community.”

Featured auction items included an 8 day/7 night Mexican getaway for two, club seats for a Notre Dame football game, a Nashville weekend getaway for two on a private jet and three Kansas City Chiefs game packages.

Those interested in attending, sponsoring or donating to next year’s auction should contact Jennifer Green-Miracle at 316-323-6338 or [email protected].
