Theatre Department celebrates 2023-2024 season at Spelvin Awards
Annual ceremony honors excellence on stage and behind the scenes.
Students, faculty and family members gathered on the stage of the Butler Theatre on Thursday, May 9, to celebrate a year of outstanding accomplishments in the Butler Theatre Department.
The night’s top winners included Mikail Sadiq, who won Best Actor for his performance in HARVEY, and Sarah McVay, who won Best Actress for her performance in EURYDICE.
This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful as it was the final one for department chair Bob Peterson prior to his retirement after 43 years of service to Butler.
