Butler Community College Theatre Presents Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit
Performances take place November 21-23 and December 5-7.
The Butler Community College theatre department is excited to present their immersive production of Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit. Performances will take place November 21-23 and December 5-7, Thursday – Saturday at 7 p.m., with additional performances Saturdays at 2 p.m.
Adapted by Paul Bowles, No Exit is a gripping experience that centers around 3 strangers who find themselves trapped together in a mysterious room in hell. As these strangers are forced to confront their intense pasts and dark secrets, the audience will feel immersed seated on all sides within the Butler Black Box performance space, making for an intimate experience.
"Sartre's intense exploration of guilt, freedom, and the absence of escape makes No Exit a compelling absurdist drama [that] explores existentialist ideas regarding relationships, meaning, and personal responsibility." says director Erin Urick.
The show runs approximately 90 minutes without intermission.
