Butler Community College Foundation Announces Results of Annual Auction

“Butler Bonanza” event raises nearly a quarter of a million dollars for Butler students
The Butler Community College Foundation held its 28th annual Butler Benefit Auction on Friday, March 7, with the theme “Butler Bonanza.” Having been recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as one of the Top 10 Best Fundraising Events in the region, the annual auction supports Butler students and their families every year. Thanks to the evening’s corporate sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor HF Sinclair, over $230,000 was raised.
Jennifer Green-Miracle, director of community advancement & corporate relations for the Butler Foundation, was pleased with the results of the auction and the evening itself. “The 2025 Butler Benefit Auction [received] incredible generosity and support for the students at Butler,” Green-Miracle said. “[Those who] donated an item, participated at the event, or helped fund the Pure Philanthropy campaign, helped fund scholarships to help students achieve their dreams.”
Highlights of the night included the auctioning of an interactive dinner party with Chef Ethan Moulds at the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts for $6,500 and a trip to a Notre Dame football game donated by Ray and Carolyn Connell, which sold for $5,500.
More than $70,000 was raised during the Pure Philanthropy portion of the evening, in which bidders donated directly to student scholarships instead of bidding on a specific item.
Those interested in attending, sponsoring or donating to next year’s auction, scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026, should contact Jennifer Green-Miracle at 316-323-6338 or jgreenmiracl@butlercc.edu.
