Nursing School Bound

Enrolling as a Pre-Nursing major is not a requirement for future acceptance into our Nursing program. You are not obligated to transfer into our Nursing program to be a Pre-Nursing major at Butler.

This program allows you to take general education and necessary science and healthcare courses. While you wait to join our Nursing school, your education doesn't wait. Whether you want to become a Butler Nursing graduate or go another route in healthcare, we have a place for you.

University of Kansas BSN Partnership

Our Pre-Nursing program gives you pre-reqs for nursing that transfer to KU’s BSN program. You can also take advantage of the Butler/KU partnership if you are eventually accepted into the official Nursing program.

University Transfer and Future Career Options

Our program is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of an Nursing career. Once you earn your associate degree, you have transfer options to build on your Butler experience.
