At Butler Community College, we welcome students from all around the world. We take pride in our safe, affordable and supportive campus in the heart of Kansas. Whether you’re planning on your associates degree or a transfer to launch your career, Butler offers a strong foundation and an experience you’ll never forget.
Outside of the amazing programs we offer to all students, we truly care about our international student population here at Butler.
The International Student Association (ISA) is a vibrant student-led organization open to all Butler students interested in promoting cross-cultural understanding. ISA organizes a variety of activities throughout the year, including social events, athletic outings, and fundraisers. Notable events include International Culture Week and the International Food & Music Night, offering opportunities to share your culture and learn about others.
Beyond ISA, you can join various clubs such as the Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO), Philosophy Club, and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society, each offering unique experiences and leadership opportunities.
Students must be checked in 30 minutes prior to closing. Walk-ins are welcome daily. Appointments for International Advisors can be made online here.
