Do you have a GED or high school diploma and want to pursue a degree? We’re happy you are here! Here is how to successfully begin your journey at Butler.
If you have not already, please look for an email and/or text message from Rapid ID with a secure link and code to activate your Butler account. Follow the secure link and complete the onscreen instructions. If you already have account credential but forgot your username and password you can request a password reset.
MyButlerCC is your official student portal. A one-stop-shop for all things Butler. With MyButlerCC you can keep up to date on important Butler news, accept financial aid, enroll for classes and more.

Once you have successfully applied to Butler and activated your account you can enroll into classes by completing the following steps.
If you took any classes for college credit or AP courses while in high school college transcripts and AP scores must be sent to the Registrar’s office.
Request your official college transcript(s), and/or military credit be sent (from the sending institution) electronically to registrar@butlercc.edu or mailed to:

Certain students (VA, athletes, and select Financial Aid recipients) are required to provide all official transcripts to the Registrar's Office. All official transcripts on file will be used in the determination of Financial Aid eligibility.
Placement is required for English, Math and some academic programs at Butler. This is determined by submitting your high school transcripts and/or ACT/SAT scores. After Butler receives your high school transcripts and/or ACT/SAT scores, please contact Advising to see if placement testing is required.

If placement testing is needed, please complete testing prior to enrolling in classes. In addition to English and Math, testing is available for those looking to test out of other college courses and earn credit for what they already know as well as GED testing.
Next, you can apply for financial aid and scholarships to help you pay for your degree.
As a New Student, our academic advisors will help you every step of the way. Your advisor will discuss your degree plan, majors of interest, and help you schedule classes. Be sure to bring a copy of your ACT/SAT test scores and high school or previous college transcripts to your first meeting if you have not already submitted those to the Registrar’s office. Those in the military community looking to use benefits must inform their advisors.
You can walk-in during office hours to meet with an advisor or schedule an in-person or virtual (not phone) appointment.
Are you a Veteran or currently serving in the military? We have resources just for you to obtain benefits to help pay for your degree and find community here at Butler.
The Registrar's Office needs a copy of all of your Official Transcripts, including military transcripts. All official transcripts must be on file before any enrollment information can be sent to VA. You can request transcripts from the transcript systems related to your military branch.
NOTE: Butler of McConnell students must have a Background Check to receive a base pass.
