Nationally, ALP is considered one of the most effective learning models in developmental English and has helped thousands of students. Butler was the first college to bring this new, dynamic approach to Kansas. Research has shown that developmental students enrolled in ALP pass EG 101 English Composition I at a higher rate and significantly shorter time span than they would have in a conventional developmental program.
For more information on the Butler ALP, please contact Developmental English Lead Instructor Kathy McCoskey at kmccoske@butlercc.edu.
