Do you love performing music for an audience? Can you sing and dance to create stage magic? We'd love for you to audition for our instrumental or music and dance scholarships.
Music and dance scholarships are available for a variety of performance-related activities. Scholarships pay the cost of in-state tuition and books for full-time students. Eligible applicants must have earned at least a 2.0 GPA in their most recent full-time semester.
The Instrumental Music Department offers a variety of opportunities to perform. Our in-state tuition and books scholarships are in high demand and we encourage all interested students to submit audition materials as soon as possible. Virtual auditions can be submitted using the information below, but priority is given to students who audition in-person.
Students who register for an in-person audition will be sent a schedule approximately one week prior to their chosen audition date. Please plan to keep the day open for the audition and interview process.
A letter of recommendation from a high school music instructor or private teacher (phone calls accepted) is due at the time of your audition. We have different requirements, depending on the instrumental group you perform in.
If you have questions about your audition or what to prepare, please reach out to instrumentalmusic@butlercc.edu.
